Behind an unassuming white bookcase is a secret entrance into Wallston’s tiny shack, which looks like an L-shaped hallway that’s been added to the perimeter of the living room.
It has white wooden floors and the same blue wallpaper as the rest of the house, but no windows or electricity. Since this is The Sims, Wallston has good eyesight anyway, but that’s the least of her problems. She essentially lives in a hidden closet with no furniture and a pregnant belly, a bomb that @simslicious casually falls into the first installment her TikTok series.
“This is Hope,” says @simslicious in the video. “Hope has no choice but to live here […]. However, there is a problem. Hope is pregnant.” At least she saves on the delivery room bill.
Wallston spends her days waiting for Rodney and Kristyn to leave the house or go to sleep so she can do basics like shower and potty. As for the food, @simslicious Wallston has it pre-cooked in bulk, but by the time she can eat it without fear of getting caught, it’s completely rotten. @simslicious lets Wallston eat it anyway. If any of this had happened in real life, Amanda Seyfriend would have starred in several Hulu miniseries about it already.
I wish I could tell you that Wallston quickly found out he was eating stolen spoiled food while living inside a wall Rodney’s bastard son (!!!) is good for nobody. However, that would be a big, stinky lie, and I would never give you a lie of any size or smell.
Rather than explore her options, Wallston genuinely seems to believe @simslicious’ claim that she has no choice but to live in Rodney and Kristyn’s house, which she actually sold to them. @simslicious never addresses whether Wallston chose to live in the house before she sold it, how Wallston’s plan to live in a wall relates to her decision to leave real estate, or where Wallston’s pregnancy fits into that timeline , so don’t ask me any of that.
I can I’ll tell you this: Wallston is in that wall and she’s fighting. I know it The Sims and not real life, but in the process of documenting the everyday life of a sim living in a wall, @simslicious has created a torture dome where viewers watch with bated breath various horrors. At least Wallston is used to #WallLife. @simslicious finally reveals that Hope and her twin brother Camillo grew up together in walls of one Law and Order: Special Victims Unit turn of events. As a silver lining, the sordid backstory seems to have bonded the siblings, and now Camillo happily helps with childcare while protecting Hope’s secret. This is a perfect example of how a positive family dynamic withstands not only the slow melting of time but also fiber optic dermatitis.
Camillo’s arrival fulfills more of Wallston and Bruno’s sim needs, but mother and son occasionally have to sleep on park benches and swim in inflatable pools. But somehow they don’t live through two House fires, although living in a wall is arguably a “fire hazard”. At the time of writing @simslicious last added a bush in the wall as a makeshift bathroom for Wallston, which is definitely a way of dealing with this whole situation.
Otherwise, Wallston continues to do her wall thing while we humans watch with concern and masochistic delight on TikTok. It’s difficult to judge Wallston without understanding the events that led to her giving up a life in real estate for #WallLife. Regardless, before you decide to raise Rodney’s son in a 5′ x 12′ crawl space, I recommend that you check with your support network or nonprofit.
For the next installment in @simslicious’s series, we may see Wallston join a protest for fair and safe housing for all, even in Sim’s 4.
