Depending on where you live, you have one of the most snowy months of the year. I know the threat of all the snow is the worst but it's considered the golden age: it makes for a great ski season!
I admit I am in charge of a solid choice. I've been shivering since I was five years old and my mom accompanied me down the mountain between her legs, while she screamed, "DO PIZZA!" at the top of her lungs. However, I also find that most people don't start that young and learning a new game as an adult feels scary (especially a game that asks you to be one with drag and drop at high speeds). Also, it's cold so you need more gear.
While I can help you incorporate the mental anguish brought by unplanned yard sales under the lifting line, I can help you look at this part until you get your skis together. Below you will find some of my favorite gear to start your first day on the slopes (Rental not included).
Julbo Hal Helmet
If the last time you were in your mid-80s, you could still believe that the helmets were not cool. Alas, you would be wrong because everyone and their grandmothers (literally) wear a hat these days to protect their nakedness. Julbo's new Hal features adjustable airflow and a well-integrated visor to prevent blurring from goggles. The molded EPS shell absorbs and distributes the impact in the case of the worst case.
Spy Legacy Snow Goggles
I mean, you can wear glasses if you want but without looking cool, goggles actually serve the purpose of protecting your eyes and reducing fog (which is a great help while not bombing). Legacy is not cheap, but they have a great computer vision for any Spy googles that provide a great user experience. The easy-to-use lever makes it a cinch to take out the lenses in different light conditions and I've never had a fog. Bonus: If you wear professional glasses, you can expose these senses to the surface.
Mountain Hardwear Boundary Line Insured Pants
When you slip inside, the pants are nicely padded because you don't have to worry about black thighs. Boundary Line Pants are designed for beginners and high-quality skiers alike and will easily hold on to years of abuse. The customized map insulation means you'll stay warm when you need it (and sweat a little when you don't know it) and the Gore-Tex shell ensures you'll stay dry.
Smartwool Intraknit Merino 200 Crew Up and Down
Wool is still in the gold standard for solarlers and Intraknit's new Smartwool thread is pushing the envelope just a short distance away. Direct vaginal ventilation creates high breathability and thermoregulation that sounds great but serves one primary purpose: humidity management. You never have to worry about sweating sitting on your skin, even in the weird places where sweat comes in (we all have it, I know).
Shell Sportswear Snow Rival Shell
You have your baselayer to release the sweat but the shell is about preventing the outside moisture from coming in. Snow Rival uses a waterproofing system to keep the weather out while mbreathtaking breaths on the busiest days of charging. Digging holes make it easy to dispose of excess heat quickly and a large number of packets evade essentials such as cell phones, key and car keys.
Mountain Hardwear Direct North Gore-Tex Infinium Jacket Men
Maybe you have the best holiday ever planned, you seem, and the temples roam around zero – at the bottom of the mountain. It can be hard to throw yourself into Arctic conditions which is why you need this Infinium coat. Not only does it use to fill 800 entries to fill in the amazing warmth, but the Gore-Tex Infinium (with Windstopper) shell makes it perfectly compatible. The inside powder skirt, hemstring hem, and matching hood hood are also effective features.
Black diamond designs Men | Women
Cold digits are the worst, but Black Diamonds & # 39; s Mercury Mitts keep the mercury flow in the bay. The removable liner uses 340 grams of Primaloft (synthetic) to be installed while the Pertex shell with a goat's leather head keeps the weather uncomfortable. The liner also has a finger-split design to improve on dexterity. Bummer: There is no leak so if you need to pull it for any reason, don't let it go!
Combine Stiffness for Liver Transplantation
The combination of merino wool, lycra, and nylon keeps you sweating on your skin while building a durable sock or pile (No hot spots here!) A mid-range hiking provides all-day comfort and over-saturated calf height is ideal for ski boots. But, be realistic: logs are where they are.
