A huge Lego replica of Stardew Valley‘s Pelican Town won the People’s Choice award at BrickCon 2024. But according to the person behind this incredible Lego artwork, the best moment of the event was when Stardew ValleyThe Creator came to see the village built of bricks.

As reported by PC GamerSteven Jensen has been working on his Lego replica of Stardew Valley for almost two years. Jensen built the large and extremely detailed Pelican Town. The Lego version of this iconic city includes all the buildings and landmarks you would expect, from the player character’s farm to the beach to the run-down community and the homes of all the residents. Jensen even has the Stardew Valley Title screen also with Lego bricks.

When asked by the sales outlet which part of the Stardew Valley Jensen’s favorite project was the Wizard’s Tower because he got the shape and color of the building perfect. Another favorite is his Lego version of the Hat Shop from the game.

“I could [it] almost completely hollow, so you can see through the cracks and broken pieces and see more openings like that on the other side. Just like a dilapidated, abandoned building,” Jensen said. PC Gamer.

I am not a big Stardew Valley Guy, but as a Lego nerdI am in love with this build. It is clear to me that Jensen is not just a Stardew Valley fan, but also a Lego expert. He uses the pieces beautifully and the entire construction is perfectly scaled so that no building or person appears too small or too big in comparison.

It is not surprising that Jensen won the People’s Choice award at this year’s BrickCon. And although Jensen appreciated the win, He says it is “better than any award” was the moment Stardew Valley Creator Eric Barone came to see his creation. Jensen admits that he didn’t recognize the creator at first, but when he realized who he was talking to, he had a “brief fanboy moment.”
