Nary a month after that dramatic implosion of the former president (and current) Twitter refugee) Donald Trumps tried blogging career, the “team” of the authoritarian 1970s trailer, has launched its latest attempt at social networking for people who are just too damn patriotic for mainstream social media … and all kinds of Sonic the Hedgehog porn too.
The uncomfortably named one GETTR– Hillary Clinton lives rent-free on this guy’s head – is essentially a Twitter clone. Its slogan, “The Marketplace of Ideas,” suggests that it might inexplicably be attractive to fenced centrists as well, and that’s especially true if they like furry Vore art and memes about Sonic the Hedgehog getting pregnant.
That keeps coming back, doesn’t it? It appears that The early start of GETTR (it was originally promised for Independence Day) has attracted a multitude of left-wing rabble from TikTok, weird Twitter and the like, and they hugged the unsavory, Trump-associated wannabe bird site as the perfect place to share degenerate hentai, furry porn, left-wing Sonic memes, and photos of chubby, aged men in underwear.
QAnon Genius Jordan Sather, the suggests drinking bleach to heal the ‘rona, noticed that “Shills are already hitting the #QAnon hashtag hard on GETTR. I will not repost what I find. Tits and bad words and such. ”
“Stuff”, in fact. So far, GETTR’s moderation guarantees have stood no chance against the communist onslaught by NSFW, which has inundated venerable tags like #QAnon with the kind of sexually threatening furotica that MAGA uncles think of during their Thanksgiving shouts. It seems likely that a few decent, sincere conspiracy theorists and proto-fascists are quickly being forced to accept the existence of a large chunk of the fucking internet, or at least acknowledge it outside of their secret bookmarks.
G / O Media can receive a commission
Sega’s quick meme king is particularly well represented, with tags like #sonicfeet, #sonicismygod, #soniclovescommunism, #sonicmylove, and #sonic_came_in_my_bussy (ask your dad about it). But despite GETTR’s declared commitment to #FREEZEPEACH, take a look at accidentally leaked source code reveals that its operators can add or remove “trending” topics at will. To arms, blue busty brigade – you are being censored!
Posing as well-known conservative figures in the service is also pretty easy, as evidenced by a report for Supreme Court justices “Brett Kavanaugh” enthusiastically share fetish images of a massive Sonic stepping on an unfortunate Fursona. I am divided whether Hercules actor Kevin Sorbo’s profile is real or not. This guy is a little touched.
Sonic’s celebrity among the GETTR shitposting pack won’t come as a surprise to dedicated internetologists. Since his debut in 1991, Sega’s Hedgehog has found a special place in the hearts of fans, despite serving as the gateway for an unknown number into the realms of furry. His fandom has moved on through the series’ many ups and downs, and in recent years has become a major player in absurd Twitter and TikTok memes that often fill the gaps between the furry community, weird Twitter, overly online links and close places in between.
Unfortunately for GETTR and its potential users, the flurry of furry left-wing filth shows no sign of stopping anytime soon, especially given the recent media attention. Maybe Mr. Trump who actually did not join the still young service will step in with its legendary negotiating skills to restore order and make GETTR great again. Great for anything but sonic footprints I mean.
