This week, Sonic the Hedgehog, the first movie with Sonic the Hedgehog, hit the theater.

While discussing the positive points of Sonic-related ulcer, and whether the sequel will ever show the toes of this gem, the Polgon crew realized that, hehe, we all wanted to paint Sonic the Hedgehog! So we did. From memory.

Some of us have spent years in Sonic fandom, making all facial features limited and soft. Some knew he had a bunch of spiky stuff in his head.

Who drew Sonic forward? You decide. (But please take a look at the artist's statements before you do.)

Charlie Hall

"I immediately thought I was going to be a goof made by Sonic spinning. So it's a ball with some aroma lines. But I tied myself to those curly hair. It all revolted when suddenly she got a hair line, pants and one arm."

Chris Plante

“Teeth. Toothpaste. Molars. The Canines. Attackers. Teeth. "

Emily Heller

Julia Lee

"Long ago, I was a crazy guy with Sonic the Hedgehog OC. This has given me a completely humane talent to draw Sonic the Hedgehog, and most of his friends, from the very heart. Every time I enter a tech store, I draw Sonic on one of their tablets and leave.

Chelsea Stark

“I thought my eyes were down, but things started to deteriorate as soon as I got to him. So, I decided to make my Sonic a fierce demon without any real legs. Just feet. ”

Patrick Gill

“I've painted a few thousand male sons in my life. I was trying to capture some of the dynamic power of the Archie Sonic Cover art, which was always better than the original art. I failed. ”

Jenna Stoeber

"I wanted to plant a planting bed with a lot of entries because I didn't think most people would participate because I looked down on my poor colleagues."

Ryan Gilliam

“What really speaks to me about Sonic is his color scheme. So I accidentally did some purple to her. “

Karen Han

“What if the key to making Sonic cuter was making him more realistic? We're investigating, through science. "

Simone de Rochefort

“I started with the eyes, then the lump, nail and nose. My problems started when I put Sonic's mouth. I put a small mouth under her nose. Now, I know Sonic has a great head. I started to draw the famous, big, round Sonic and when I tried to lipstick I realized I had made a big mistake. I tried to stretch my mouth, but that didn't fix the problem. Disappointed, I continued to paint Sonic. His body is like beans, soft and round. I think I did that. But his malnourished arms looked ugly from the start, and when I reached for his glove hands health and hope had diminished in my body. Sonic's legs … the less said about them, the better. But I've done a good job in his shoes. ”

Math Patches

“Some say that Sonic's attraction is more about capturing his spirit than imitating his original appearance. I give in and the drawing has six thumbs up. ”

Petrana Radulovic

"I've been inspired by Furby for a long time."

Russian Frushtick

"I forgot how the arms went."
