The South Lomei Maze In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a great ancient maze that hides two shrines: Motsusis Shrine And Siyamotsu Shrine. It consists of three parts in total – on the surface, in the sky and in the depths. The South Lomei Maze must be completed in this order, with each new phase starting as soon as the last one is completed.
When you complete that North Lomei Maze, the solution will look familiar to you. The South Lomei Maze follows the same rules as its northern counterpart; The first maze navigates the darkness to get to the shrine in the center. The South Lomei Sky Maze After that, the temple will open and there is the second shrine. Then you go into the glider labyrinth. Eventually the depths open up for a fight with the Flux Construct IIIwhere you will be rewarded with sweet gear.
When you’re done, you can refer to other things to do on our shrine locations page or on the Hyrule Interactive Map.
Location of the South Lomei Maze
The entrance to South Lomei Maze lies within the Gerundo Highlands at the coordinates (11785, -3310, 0138). If you unlocked that Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, which is a good starting point for gliding to the maze – you can slide southeast from there. The sky and deep versions of the South Lomei Maze are just above and below, but don’t worry about getting there just yet.
Through the labyrinth of the South Lomei Labyrinth you will get to the Motsusis Shrine
The Motsusis Shrine is in the middle of the maze – finding it is the puzzle itself. At the entrance you will find a researcher’s notebook, which says that there is a trace of acorns leads to the middle of South Lomei Maze. Follow the trail of acorns to the center and the Motsusis Shrine.
It’s pretty easy to follow the acorns, especially once you’ve unlocked them Purah Pads Sensor+. You can set this to track acorns, making it easier to follow the path to the center of the maze.
There are two ways to solve the puzzle – and the second is a lot faster. But first, let’s start by following the acorns.
1. Take the first To the right after entering the maze.
2. Take a Left Then go straight over that gloom. You can climb the walls to get around it, or light a campfire with pine cones to create drafts and get over it.
3. Behind the darkness you will see a campsite. Turn Left shortly before.
4. Turn Left and go down the stairs to the left.
5. Walk right past the dark.
6. Take the first To the rightthen short Left and a short one To the right.
7. Take a To the right at the fork and go up the stairs,
8. Turn To the right. You won’t see that Mother left behind because it’s hidden under a pile of sand.
9. Go straight up the stairs and then turn around Left.
10. Take the first Left.
11. Take a quick one To the rightThen LeftThen To the rightThen Left. These are hardly turns – you’re basically driving diagonally in a straight line.
12. Take the last one To the right before the dead end.
13. Turning Left.
14. Go straight up and down the stairs. There is a campsite at the fork. Turn To the right. (The acorn lies under the sand pile.)
15. Head Left The stairs up.
16. Drop right over the dark. On the corner where you turn Left, there is a lot of gloom to overcome. Continue straight through the next gloomy area.
17. Turning Left down the hall, across more gloom.
18. Turning To the rightThen Left. There is a campsite in front of us.
19. Go down a few levels and die Motsusis Shrine will be on the left.
20. Turn around and go straight to the other side of the room Activate the terminal and open the sky maze.
You do not do that have follow the acorns to get to the center South Lomei Sky Maze, However. If you climb to the top of the maze and hike the walls, you can get to the center of the maze. Drop down southeast of the center, then follow the quick acorn path to the shrine and terminal.
Motsusi’s Shrine Solution
Motsusis Shrine is a Rau’s blessing Shrine, meaning you just have to enter to complete the shrine. Its exact location is at the coordinates of (0408, 2133, 0144)
Location of the South Lomei sky labyrinth
If you look up from the surface terminal you can see the celestial maze. Since it’s not so easy to get up from here, it’s better to go back Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. Use the Skyview tower to shoot up into the sky, then head across East Gerudo Sky Archipelago – Without this step you will not be able to fully slide to the sky maze. You will see a large pillar so aim for it.
Once you’re on that East Gerudo Sky ArchipelagoBuild a glider using the materials on the sky island. There’s a pre-made one with some compartments, but I also attached a rocket found on the island to it, along with two batteries I pulled from my Zonai Gatcha balls. Use the airstrip to shoot into the sky and fly south South Lomei Sky Maze. My device gave up the ghost before I made it all the way there, but I was able to slide it to the platform Siyamotsu Shrine.
Siyamotsu Shrine Solution
The Siyamotsu Shrineat the coordinates (-1793, -3331, 1015) in Gerudo heaven is an “unilluminated blessing”. First go towards Breast and grab this Powerful construct bow and the surrounding area arrows. you will need them There are a few fire fruit There are also bushes to collect.
The shrine will shift and transform, the exit is now inaccessible to Link. On the now vertical platform are four braziers. Two are unlit. Use your arrows and fire fruits to light the two unlit braziers.
Once this is done, a launcher will become visible under the shrine Breast. Use this to get to the seal. Examine it to complete the shrine and collect it light of blessing.
South Lomei Sky Maze Labyrinth Walkthrough
Walk past Siyamotsu Shrine to activate the dragon terminal before the South Lomei Sky Maze to open the maze.
As with the North Lomei Sky Maze, the minimap is essential to get through this maze. It’s a challenging maze that you navigate using your glider and air blasts to unlock four terminals. The maze is complicated, but you’ll also need to control your stamina to make sure you don’t fall to the ground.
Instead of looking at the maze itself, look at your mini-map and from there follow the blue path to reach the four terminals. I barely looked at most of the screen while navigating – only at the mini-map.
Once you reach all four terminals, there should be a massive blast of air that will take you to the top of the maze. But you can also use it Rising up swim through the walls and up. (Alternatively, you can easily navigate to the four terminals by following the path from the top of the maze Rising up to be back up after each one.)
Once you’re done with the four terminals, you’ll see the dragon terminal that opens the depths. The Gateway to the Deep opens once activated. Jump in!
Labyrinth of the South Lomei Depths
There’s not a lot of puzzles down here, just a boss fight. use one Lightflower Seeds Once you are close to the ground to light the area. Otherwise you’ll be groping in the dark. You can see that… Flux Construct III under the bars you landed on Go down the stairs on either side of the room to start the fight.
fight against Flux Construct III isn’t easy, but the strategy that has consistently worked for me has been to target the construct with a bomb flower arrow to start the fight (and deal extra damage).
For safety reasons, I tended to stay on the higher platforms unless I had to jump down to do damage. I used arrows to attack from a longer range and when the construct was close enough I used it Ultrahand Pull out the glowing crate, then hit it with a powerful weapon. I just kept doing this, dodging attacks until it was defeated.
The Flux Construct III will drop a lot of stuff. Make sure it picks it up and attach the core – which you can’t pick up – to a weapon. A Breast appears in the middle of the room with the Evil ghost mask Inside.
Good work!
