The main reason Sony put Spiderman PC was about making money, but one of the main reasons PC gamers were so excited about it –other than that it stays very good!– was because they could use it to mod a PlayStation game to hell and back.
We have I already wrote a story about the game’s mods, but the last one was a crapso today we’re here for something lighter: a mod that turns Spider-Man’s in-game model into Kermit the Frog.
That’s it. This is the mod.
The mod was created by Tangoted, and is available here. It specifically swaps out the Advanced Suit, information you don’t really need to know here but I’m sharing anyway as it gives me an excuse to post this screenshot:
What I want As you know, it works not only in game situations. Depending on which models the game is using at any given time, he will also appear in cutscenes:
If you like the idea of modifying the game but Kermit is too flexible –and kingpin too big-then maybe you prefer this swap from sapphireswhich also replaces the Spider-Man model, only this time instead of a puppet with… Uncle Ben’s tombstone.
Remember that with great performance comes great portability.
Spider-Man Remastered modder banned for allowing players to remove the Pride flag
The management of Nexus Mods quickly removed the nasty mod and banned its creator, without mincing words accompanying blog post. “The fact that the user had to make a sock puppet like a coward to upload the mod showed their intent to troll,” they wrote. “The development of the sock puppet removed any doubt and made the decision very easy for us. Both the sock puppet account and the user’s main account have been suspended.”
