Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Slated for release on April 28th on PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X and with its publisher last week Electronic Arts revealed the significant hardware requirements that PC gamers need to keep the game running smoothly.
While the CPU and GPU requirements are not to be scoffed at, the amount of storage required for the PC version of this game is quite high. At this point, skyrocketing install sizes for AAA titles is hardly surprising, but when every game coming into the pipeline practically requires its own SSD, finding the storage space required becomes a bit more difficult.
For comparison, the 155GB of storage required is roughly three times that of the previous 2019 game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (55GB). It’s more than what you would need for games like hit man 2 (149GB with DLC), Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
For console gamers planning to pick up war of stars Food: Survivorthe game takes up much less space. According to the landing page for the standard version on the Xbox Store, the install size is 43.98 GB (click “More” under the game’s ESRB rating, then scroll down to see the file size to see for yourself) . In case you still don’t have room on your console SSD, we have a collection of the best SSDs for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X for you to try.
Update (April 10): Electronic Arts has updated the Xbox Store landing page with the amount of storage you need on your Xbox Series X. We’ve updated this article to reflect this.
