A week ago the independent regulatory committee for Magic: The Gathering Commanderthe trading card game’s most popular format in recent years, surprisingly announced a ban on three of its most popular and expensive cards. The reaction from some fans was quick, loud and in some cases escalated into violent threats against the people involved.
