There are just so many games out there these days that it’s hard to stand out from the crowd and grab the world’s attention. So, here is a good way: get the world famous anime house Studio Trigger to create the trailer for your upcoming sports action game for Nintendo Switch.
Omega Striker, developed by Odyssey Interactive, is a free to play 3v3 online soccer game (soccer for readers across the pond) that pits animated athletes against each other in cross-platform online matches. Some of the elegant athletes are so Anime-AF in their designs that they’re not even human. By my count, at least there is a slime girlA gun-wielding lizard manAnd a fat bear guy who looks like a gerbil. The soccer ball here burns half the time, so these characters, who are Anime AF, fit right into the picture.

Odyssey enlisted the help of animation powerhouse Studio Trigger (the studio behind it). Kill La Kill And Cyberpunk: Edgerunner) to sell the frantic energy of its footballers and their penchant for breaking the rules of conventional football with unauthorized weapons with a cool opening music video. Studio Trigger anime tend to resist any type of authoritarian organization. For example, Kill La Kill And Brand new animal saw that his colorful casts openly contradicted notions of socially acceptable clothing and racial prejudice against beastmen. More recently, Trigger’s Netflix anime adaptation Cyberpunk: Edgerunner focused on the journey of a Latino boy named David Martinez to become a legend in a city that would turn a blind eye to his untimely death.
Great for work or play

That being said, it just makes sense that Trigger would animate an opening movie about a group of outcasts united by their passion for decimating their opponents. I think the Omega Strikers players are defying the traditional rules of football. Who are we to deny a? Pompadoured rockabilly his fun? Time will tell if Omega Striker will have an arena for his crazy group of football madmen to compete in space, eh Trigger is not to do. Meanwhile, props for such a stylish pendant.
