One of the largest fighting game tournaments in Europe, the ultimate battle arena (UFA), ended on November 13. The three-day event in France was populated by big-name competitors like Goichi “GO1” Kishida and Victor “Punk” Woodley, but it was madcap teenager EndingWalker who made waves in the end, not only recording first Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, but storms off the stage immediately afterwards. It looked hilariously disrespectful, but EndingWalker said he was just “overwhelmed” by it all.
EndingWalker is a fresh face on the competitive fighting game scene, having only been competing since around January 2021. In the nearly two years since he hit the circuit, EndingWalker has competed in numerous online games Street Fighter V

Big footsies ensued, with each contestant assessing the other’s fighting style before going in. EndingWalker gave Valmaster very little room to breathe, constantly stunning him and punishing his whistled moves. It was brutal to watch. But what was most devastating about the match-up waSo he left the tournament after winning the tournament.
My buddy said straight out, “I’m out,” and just… Walker stormed off the stage, casually dodging his first-place trophy. The crowd was of course keen to win, but what sent me in was the commentators who couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

“Stay on stage young man,” shouted one of the commentators. “He just walked away,” said the other, before concluding that the mad boy was “amazing.”

Walker eventually returned to UFA stage to get his trophy, tweet later that he “was a bit overwhelmed at the end, which is why I left pretty quickly after the win”. He thanked everyone for the congratulations, said he had “a great time” and mentioned that this tournament was his second offline event ever. The lad has a bright future at FGC if he continues like this.
