Yesterday, as part of the Summer Game FestVolition released a new free downloadable demo for the upcoming Saints Row Reboot later this year. However, this is not a demo of the game’s open world or its vehicle combat. No, that’s just the character creator. But thankfully, it’s a fantastic character creator, with a wide variety of clothing and customization options, and a long list of sliders and features to help you create your own unique crime boss. And as a result, in less than 48 hours, people have already created some wonderfully accurate, goofy, and scary bosses with the new free tool.
Saints Row Boss Factory is the perfectly named character creator demo released yesterday for free on PlayStation, Xbox and PC via the Epic Games Store. in the Boss factorylets you create the boss of your dreams (or nightmares) with a huge list of sliders and options, including the ability to tweak and change everything from facial symmetry to body weight to your boss’s modesty when it comes to underwear and nudity.
There’s no real game to use them in yet, but right now I’m having a lot of fun looking at all the characters that people are creating and uploading to share Boss factory. Each of these will be playable the full game also this August. Keep that in mind as we look at some of my favorites.
