It would end up being one of the Most sold Video game consoles of all time and would to press the other console manufacturers to equip their current machines with motion controls. And while the whole motion control thing didn’t work out, the Nintendo Wii Built a solid library of games, and chances are your grandparents still have one in their huge entertainment center.
My personal story with the Wii is one of excitement and then disappointment. I bought a Wii after looking for one shortly after it started. I bought it because my grandparents got one and when I went over there and played Wii sports
After getting it, I played a lot Wii sports with my parents and my brother, and some friends. Then I played something Mario Galaxy and Boom Blox and then I was kind of frustrated. 15 years later, looking back at the Wii, it is realized that while it was a huge hit for Nintendo and helped fill it the company’s bank account, it’s never been as cute and popular as the Wii or as important as it is the N64. But it wasn’t the Wii U either, and it certainly is some.
