For every exploit and glitch FromSoftware try and fix elden ringyou can be sure that curious gamers – especially those interested in speed running – will discover new ones.
Example: This trick (via GamesRadar), which is slowly spreading through the game’s community, showing that in certain locations, under certain circumstances, you can make Torrent trot right off the ground and fly like a magical, wingless Pegasus.
It works as explained in this video EZscape, Torrent first requires you to climb uphill at a very specific spot and descend when you are just above the “Death Plane” where a falling death is triggered. If you jump off—Send torrent to deathSorry – you will then need land and attempt to summon your Steed again, which will cost you a Flask of Crimson Tears.
Only that won’t do anything, so you have to summon them anew, and after the second whistle Torrent will be back. Just now her weird goaty legs have the power of flight.
If you want to try it yourself, you can find the two spots where this bug has worked so far in the video above, the first in the Bestial Sanctum and the second on a ledge outside of Volcano Manor.
