Malcolm and Marie follows a filmmaker named Malcom (Washington) and his girlfriend Marie (Zendaya) as the couple return home from the premiere of Malcolm’s latest film and await his reception. The black and white film takes place over the course of an evening and immerses itself in their relationship as truths come to light and their love is tested.
“This is not a love story,” reads the trailer. “This is a story of love.”
Malcom and Marie hits Netflix on February 5th – just in time for Valentine’s Day.
