Pokémon GoIn January 2020 Public Day will feature Piplup, a beautiful aquatic species of penguin Pokémon.
Community Day will take place on Sunday, Jan. 19, but the duration of the event will vary depending on which part of the world you live in, which is a first for this game. Players in the Northern Hemisphere will have their event running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in their local time, with players in the Southern Hemisphere will have their event starting at 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in their local time.
At the time of this event, Piplup will be dispersing in large numbers, with a great chance of getting it Shiny.
Piplup's Special Public Day move has yet to be officially announced, but it's safe to say that it will be a Hydro Cannon, like all other Pokémon water-type stars. Turning Piplup into its last evolution, Empoleon, during the event will give it this powerful boost. This is a very good move for the Spoleon, making it a solid water attack, only behind Kingler, Kyogre, and Swampert.
All eggs that are incubated with the Incubators during the event will also bind four times faster than normal. Like all other public days, Lutions will also last for three hours.
