Over the holiday weekend of January 13-15, rumors spread about the cancellation of an unnamed and unannounced concert gloriole Battle royale codenamed Project Tatanka. Last Spartan Standing gave players five lives before eliminating them from the game for good, but it always felt too small for the larger Big Team maps, and the playlist was replaced with Team Doubles four months after its debut. It hasn’t returned since. And Big Team Battle mode doesn’t resemble a battle royale at all, aside from its size.
