The list of nominees and winners of the Game Awards 2022

God of War Ragnarok led The Game Awards 2022 with 10 nominations, followed by FromSoftware Elder Ring which was due at Thursday’s show for seven – but that’s how it was Elder Ring that walked away with the Game of the Year award.

Game of the Year nominees included PlayStation exclusives god of war ragnarok, Horizon forbidden west, and Strayalongside the Nintendo Switch-only Xenoblade Chronicles 3and multiplatform launches Elder Ring and A Plague Tale: Requiem. All GOTY contenders are also nominated multiple times in other categories.
