Accordingly Predator: Badlands Director Dan Trachtenberg’s upcoming installment in the science fiction series will shake things up and make the alien hunter himself the protagonist.

In an interview with Empire Magazine, Trachtenberg spoke about the role the legendary alien hunter will play in the upcoming film, making it clear that this time the Predator is “center stage” and “leading the attack.”
“He’s still tough, but there’s also something that touches you emotionally,” said Trachtenberg. “It was a challenge to create a character that you could connect with but at the same time be very intimidated by. But exciting.”
