The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are currently in full swing and are already generating a lot of heat. Just recently a fencer jumped into his opponent’s face as if he were in a fighting gameand now there is a sniper who could very well be the next agent to be added Appreciation. We live in a wild world.
Kim Ye-ji is a South Korean shooter currently competing in the Paris Olympics. Although she won silver in the 10-meter shooting category at the Games, everyone is more focused on Ye-ji’s ice-cold drops, her attitude and her demeanor than on her victory.
As you can see, Ye-ji, a record holder in the 25m category, is probably the coolest person in the world. Although the clip in question isn’t from the ongoing Olympics, it hasn’t stopped her from gaining adoring fans. Being able to pull off a world record shot like this is one thing, but doing it in this pose with one hand in her pocket makes her look like the most casual assassin ever. Combined with the sniper glasses she’s wearing, I couldn’t even be mad if I got knocked out by someone who exudes such an incredibly cool aura as she does.
Apparently, many people online wouldn’t either. While there was a lot of admiration for her achievements, there was mostly a flood of people getting upset about Ye-ji and her style.
Ye-ji has proven so unreal to some people that they have compared her to fictional characters. One poster said she looked like a movie character, while another said they needed future first-person shooter characters will be modeled after her. Given her sense of style, my thoughts immediately wander to Appreciationwhose characters frequently wear chic streetwear. While Ye-ji’s Olympic outfit isn’t quite as good, it’s not far off either, and a few small changes are enough to make her stand out from the cast. However, fashion is just one vector for coolness, and by all other standards, Ye-ji is a total stunner. She already has fan art!
