Fortunately they are watching “Behind the scenes of Overwatch 2 ” Panel Calm any fears that the game may have been forgotten. Led by lead designer Jeff Kaplan, the 39-minute panel didn’t reveal anything particularly juicy – no, no release timeline – but it still offered some insight into what players can expect and when Overwatch 2
Here’s a quick rundown of the results:
- New maps: Rome and New York
- Dynamic weather events like snow storms and sand storms
- PvE object based scenarios known as hero missions
- Class passives that give players skills based on their roles. For example: DPS heroes have increased movement speed and support heroes have a light health regeneration.
- Character-specific improvements such as more steering for Reinhardt’s load capacity
- Talent trees that players can use to customize heroes
- New hero looks
- New story content focused on fending off the rogue robot faction Null Sector
While the panel was full of information, it didn’t really reveal anything that hadn’t been teased before. But! My big snack: stay. No, Blizzard didn’t officially reveal it Overwatch

It’s there, sitting in front of you and teasing you with its thread-like cheese and pools of fat, but no, I can’t eat it. It’s BlizzCon, dammit, if so ever A time to announce the newest character for your game. And to be fair, there is still one day of convention that Blizzard could finally make it through Lining the legion of Black female fans who have begged for a Crumbs of representation for some time. At least it was nice to see her in action – that railgun was pretty cute.
