Ubisoft's middle battle That is respect you get a new limited time mode entitled Prince of Persia, starting today.
The new game mode, called Ruler Time, varies from Dominion, the game's traditional holding mode. The Ruler of Time features a storm pulling the map around and sometimes destroying the Persian Prince, the unnamed protagonist from the action platformer series. Both teams can fight against him, and whoever kills him gets a lot of points to help them win.
The prince doesn't look like it will be easy to kill. True to his sport, the prince has a variety of special abilities including speeding attacks, sand spears he can summon from the ground, and the ability to step back and fall from a tree.
The mode occurs in the type of That is respectMap of the harbor, altered by a sandstorm. It comes alongside a new bundle Prince of Persia cosmetics and killing moves, including what makes you look like a Sand Wraith villain. The event also has a new arcade quest associated with it.
We didn't find anything new Prince of Persia a game in almost a decade (long if you choose to forget the 2010 crash Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands). However, last month Ubisoft announced new Prince of PersiaEscape room based around VR, and now with the character from within Respect, perhaps Ubisoft is finally testing the waters for his triumphant return.
The Prince of Persia the event will run until April 2. Here is the full trailer:
