If you ever wanted to play a hair machine (aka UFO Catcher) in Japan from your North American home, and the prizes were sent directly to your door, did Sega get the app? Seriously.

Sega Catcher Online, freemium title because IOS and Android mobile devices, launched in the U.S. today. And as advertised, too: Players who try one of the many prizes are taken to the video feed UFO Catcher machine, somewhere in Japan, apparently. Players can trick a nail (two movements, forward and left or right) trying to tie a joint (or a token representing another prize) from the pile. The prizes won in the game are sent to the player's door, for free.

Dammit! Take this, you stupid robot, don't like it!

Sega Catcher Online it was opposed in Japan three years ago; the kind of game launched in the US on Windows PC and Mac back in December. When we entered the game, we saw a list of towels, pillows, bandages, and other items that had anime characters printed on them. Apparently these items are actually from Japan, too, as Sega says American players will have to wait about a week to get their spoils.

They receive one delivery per week, free of charge; The most common deliveries can be purchased in the form of currency for the game, which also purchases a trip to one of the clone machines. (There is a free exercise machine for people who need to get controller time down.)

As for how to drive one of the expensive machines, they run between 100 and 200 Sega Points, and 130 of them work for $ 1.99 (with great prices available at discounts). But players are also given free money for things like regular login, connecting their phone, and other types of engagement activities.
