World’s Edge gets a massive makeover in Apex legends‘latest season. Respawn Entertainment released a trailer on Monday to showcase the newly destroyed version of the map along with some other features of the map Apex legends Season 10: Emergence, including Seer, the game’s new legend, and the new Rampage weapon.
World’s Edge was already filled with lava and all sorts of other dangers, but the new “decimated” version of the map seems to make it treacherous than ever. Lava spreads to new parts of the map as buildings and terrain are destroyed by some kind of disaster. In one of the earlier trailers, there is even some sort of avalanche that players can overtake. The trailer only gives a brief glimpse of areas of the map, but it seems like large chunks will change completely when the new season is released.
The new map update isn’t the only change that respawn will bring with season 10. Seer already seems like one of the game’s most exciting legends and gets another spotlight in this trailer. We see him shoot down enemies and chase them down with his various nanotech abilities, including his Ultimate, which places a dome over a small area of the map and tracks anyone who moves quickly within it.
The Emergence update will also include a new weapon called the Rampage, which appears to be a slow-firing but very powerful rifle. Of course, there will also be a Battle Pass for the new season, which contains character and weapon skins that players can unlock during the game.
Apex legends Season 10 and all of its additions will go live on August 3rd.
