The Veil Guardian’s critical reaction and other gaming opinions

Today, October 28th, the reviews went online Dragon Age: The Veil Guardian. I discussed it here My cityand despite being jaded by the series for almost a decade, I really enjoyed the long-awaited fourth installment. At the moment it sits at a strong 84 on the review aggregation site Metacritic

which is about where these games usually end up. The original Dragon Age: Origins sits at an 86, with inquisitionthe third entry in the series, landed just shy of 84. Meanwhile Dragon Age II probably the most controversial game in the series, is at 79. As much as I enjoyed my time with it The Veil GuardianI knew it would get quite different reactions from people. There are 10s and some more mediocre results. There are even people who say so directly “not recommended”
