Siren Isle is a large outdoor endgame experience set on a stormy island. The Kul Tirans occupied it during the Fourth War to mine Azerite, but these miners mysteriously disappeared. A mysterious pulse of light draws attention to the island, so players pack up and head out to explore the new possibilities that Siren Isle offers. Players will be rewarded with a new currency: Flame Blessed Iron, which can be exchanged for goodies such as mounts, pets, equipment and new transmog options. One of these mounts is Thrayir, an electric storm crow.
Blizzard also shared that Plunderstorm, the pirate-themed battle royale mode, will make a triumphant return sometime in early 2025 World of Warcraft out the window, encouraging players to queue up for short-term games and experiment with different classes from game to game. Plunderstorm will have both new and returning rewards for those who missed the first round of the battle royale.
Timewalking dungeons return and players can earn the enchanting Timely Buzzbee Skyriding mount. As a little surprise, humans and Kul Tirans can customize their ears to have the elven tips of the Arathi we met in Hallowfell, a settlement built by a fragment of the greater Arathi Empire around a giant crystal beneath the surface of Azeroth was built.
Finally a new quest series comes into play. Dalaran, the wizarding city of the Kirin Tor, was destroyed by the nefarious Xal’atath, who blasted it from the sky. The Kirin Tor “must confront their past mistakes and decide the future course of their people.” This questline is accompanied by a story prologue for 11.1, the first major patch and story development for The internal war.
