When I’m looking for a new charger – whether to buy myself or to recommend to Polygon readers for their Steam Decks, Switch, phones or tablets – cuteness doesn’t matter. But Ugreen’s new Uno Nexode 65W portable charger brings some welcome expressiveness to the previously boring business of charging your devices. Once plugged into a power outlet, its little screen displays an emoji that changes depending on the charging progress. It’s 32,49 $ now for Amazon Prime subscribers ($49.99 for everyone else) and is available in 3 color schemes.

Need another screen in your life? Absolutely not. But the reason I’m sold on this particular charger (in addition to the screen) is that its 65W charging speed is more than enough to charge the Steam Deck at the same speed as Valve’s own charger—not to mention the Switch, which requires less power. Plus, with a total of two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, it can split its power between up to three devices at once (45W goes to one device, while 7.5W goes to each of the remaining two). If you just plug cables into the USB-C ports and leave the USB-A port empty, it charges at 45W and 20W—more than enough to quickly charge both a console and a phone.

While you’re considering whether to snag this device at a discounted price, consider pairing it with the Anker 2-in-1 USB-C cable that Polygon covered a few weeks ago. It’s a 4-foot braided cable that splits into two USB-C heads so you can charge – you guessed it – two devices from one power source. Last time I wrote about it, it cost $21.99 with a Prime membership, but it’s now $19.99.
