I think I’m realizing I’m a jacket guy. I’ve always loved layers and love when it gets cooler in NYC so I can break out my outerwear, but the deluge of cool video game jackets lately has proven that I’m a sucker for good old-fashioned outerwear. I really want this Disco Elysium Jacketfor example, and one of my favorite things in my closet is my Destiny 2 Raid jacket. I would commit a crime for one of these $1700 Death Stranding 2 Jackets Apparently that sold out in minutes, and now there’s one Ring of fire Jacket comes for me. No, not This herebut it’s still pretty cool.
Exclusively available on the Bandai Namco StoreThe Ring of fire The jacket is decorated with iconography of one of the game’s coolest boss fights against Maliketh, The Black Blade. The large, dog-like demon is one of the final battles players must complete to complete the game, and it’s correspondingly tough. No surprises considering it’s him allegedly He needs to keep the Rune of Death safe and will already have it embedded in his own skin when you find him, but this is neither the time nor the place for a large-scale lore collection.
The black and gold Sukajan jacket has many beautiful details that make it special. For example, Maliketh’s head is embroidered on both chest panels, showing the armor of his face, his snarling expression and sharp teeth, as well as his long, ashen mane. His head is surrounded on all sides by images of clouds similar to those players may have seen Ring of fire‘s in-game map. Additionally, flecks of gold appear to be scattered in the air around it, similar to an effect that can be observed the closer one gets to the Earth Tree. Ring of fireis the brilliant and gigantic landmark that towers over the Lands Between.
The back of the jacket features an impressive full-body depiction of Maliketh in full armor, wielding his gnarled sword and emitting a menacing red aura from him and his weapon. The same clouds and gold surround it, and a small flavor text above and below the design identifies it: “Cower before Mallketh, Marika’s Black Blade.”
Unfortunately, this incredibly cool statement piece is quite limited. There are only 500 of these available, so each copy sold comes in a premium box with a numbered certificate. At $200, that’s not the case worst Price you might pay for a luxury piece of clothing, meaning it could sell out pretty quickly. And no, you can’t buy more than one at a time, so this is a one-time deal. Get in and bear witness to Marika’s best soldier.
