This randomizer from Tears Of The Kingdom is the perfect mess

If you have already invested more than 100 hours The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you may be wondering how to spice up this Hylian love affair between you and Link’s latest adventure. Well, could I suggest a random number generator that puts enemies in places they shouldn’t be? Because a modder has created a randomizer for the Switch game and is giving its backers early access.

The randomizer comes from Waikuteru, who also developed a similar and quite popular randomizer for breath of the wild. Their glitch video shows some examples of the random number generator in action, including powerful opponents like the Gleeok Spawn in unexpected places. This chaos extends not only to the enemies you fight, but also to the weapons and supplies you have at your disposal to fight them. You can find different weapons, shieldsand other supplies throughout the game, but you can also use the randomizer to find fused weapons with different stats throughout the game Tears of the Kingdom, adding another level of unpredictability to the game. What if you could find the master sword on a tutorial island, or some mushrooms in a chest that usually has a key item in it? In addition, the random generator places a random weapon or item in your inventory at regular intervals. So if you get into trouble, you might get something useful if the random number generator is on your side. The point is chaos.

While the random number generator is already pretty impressive, Waikuteru says they have plans to continue supporting it with additions like the aiming mode that was featured in the breath of the wild random generator. This mode introduces a random objective that the player must complete before progressing.

The randomizer isn’t publicly available yet and won’t be “until at least all the base functionality has been implemented.” However, Waikuteru is offering early access to those who support the project Patreon.
