The Pokémon Company’s new large Pikachu plush measures 26 inches, or just over 60 cm, and is available for pre-order on the Pokémon Center website. Pikachu is 3⁄4 Inches tall and 24 1⁄2 inches wide. It’s not quite as big as the older $249.99 Pikachu plush, which was over three feet tall. To compare this new Pikachu to another giant Pokémon plush, it’s slightly smaller than the life-sized Psyente and noticeably smaller than the gigantic Wailord. However, it is larger than the series of sleeping Eevee evolutions (which are unfortunately sold out) which have a quantity of 16 inches. Pikachu’s Pokédex entry The height is stated to be just over 30 cm, so the new plush is still larger than average. At the time of writing, it is the largest Pokémon plush toy you can purchase at the Pokémon Center. So if you are looking for a jumbo, this is it.
A cheaper option that is almost as cuddly is this 14-inch Pikachu Squishmallow This costs less than $50. It’s smaller than the 20 inch version I have, but not by much. But if cost is no limit, I’d rather have a 16-inch-thick Pikachu plush toy – we love a round king.
