Tiny Tina’s Wonderland isn’t even out a month yet but fresh on the heels Release of the first expansion of the gamehas rolled out developer Gearbox the biggest patch so far for its lively loot shooter. Let’s break it down.
A key here is a change in how the game’s Lucky Dice feature functions. On your way through the different realms of wonderlandfind various golden 20-sided dice. Hitting them gives you a quick loot drop, but there’s a bigger incentive to chasing them: each cube you find increases your loot luck, which is the stat that dictates Your chances of finding rarer gear
Yes.
After today’s patch, however, a cube found once applies to all characters on your account – you don’t have to find all of them for all your characters.
The update also optimizes Chaos Chamber, the roguelite-inspired endgame mode from Tiny Tina’s Wonderland where you run through rooms and mow down waves of increasingly difficult enemies. For one, enemies should now spawn faster, addressing concerns from higher level players who would kill waves of enemies only to end up standing around waiting for more mooks to spawn. On the other hand, it increases the difficulty of the mode.
You can unlock them by completing so-called “Chaos Trials” in Chaos Chamber new difficulty levels, called “Chaos,” with each level unlocked, which increases enemies’ health and damage output in exchange for increasing the chances of rare loot drops. Yesterday the chaos was capped at 20. Today, that cap has been increased to a maximum of 35. (However, there’s no news of a corresponding level cap increase just yet.) Once you reach Chaos level 35, loot has a chance to drop to the new rarity, Native.
Gearbox also rolled out a handful of changes to the Clawbringer class that are already out there the strongest in the game. His action ability, a melee attack that deals fire damage in a large radius, now deals fire damage in one greater
But even those buffs may pale in comparison to the news that you can now change the name of your pet dragon (and, of course, pets for the Graveborn and Spore Warden classes as well). After all, nothing beats the power of friendship.
All of these changes come on top of dozens of smaller tweaks, UI updates, bug fixes, and balance adjustments – but nothing earth-shattering You can read the whole list here– culminating in: “….and more!”
It is unclear what changes this line refers to. Gearbox representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
