In 2018, Valve was released Artifact, its first game in years. About five months later, the studio held any review, saying it needed to re-evaluate the game. Now, Artifact approx redefine into a new beta, according to a blog post, and Valve made some major changes.
The biggest change is what Valve calls it Artifact Beta 2.0 is that the studio will no longer sell cards. According to a blog post, Valve is not looking for players to fight against those who have "plenty of stores." As part of this free card initiative, Artifact will see a new Hero Draft mode, which will allow players to create their own stairs “without any pressure.”
As for the actual game of Artifact, Valve will zoom out the view, allowing players to play cards in all three modes at once – unique mechanics in Artifact, are similar to MOBAs Dust 2. While Valve speculated that the game would still hold fast to that triple-channel knowledge, the studio hoped that this would ease the pressure of balance, causing players to shut down the road.
Artifact Beta 2.0 will be your own success when presented, separate from the original Artifact program. The studio said it was exploring some of the big features, but that it would start releasing invitations soon – starting with players who screened the first game.
In a brief question and part of the answers at the bottom of the post, Valve had made it clear that players would unlock new versions of the cards by playing, many old styles and player statements would not work. The studio also said they have ideas for things they would like to sell for the game, but none of them are cards or packs of cards.
The valve has just started to climb higher Artifact Beta 2.0, but the company says it hopes to eventually roll out a new version of the game to unlock the beta.
