Digital Extremes is throwing a big update Warframe, including features that were first unveiled at the 2019 game convention, Tennocon. Spear Scarlet Spear, The new sporting event, will run for four weeks, runs from March 24 to April 21.
WarframeWorse, the enemy AI, known as Sentients, is popping up in space combat mode. Players traveling on their Railjack ships will be attacked by teams entering the board. These Sentient boarding teams are much smarter than existing foreign enemies; they will move to disrupt and disable the ship's systems, forcing players to work together to clear the ship and make things work and work.
While Warframe limit players to squads of four players, there's a new way to add other players to the mission. The new Operation Room will allow players to take part in a feature called Operation Link. Operation Link was initially showcased at Tennocon 2019 as a squad Link, and showcased its advanced equipment with two different testicles.
In Operation Link, one team of four players will be on Railjack. They will need help in bringing down some ground based tasks, managed by a second team of four players. Railjack players must survive and do everything they can while waiting for their allied team to work in a normal fighting style. If both parties succeed, the task will be much easier. All completed Operation Link activities will contribute to the event's progression, showing players launching a fierce battle against the Sentients.
Warframe finds some great things in today's review, including a game show dedicated to Nova Warframe. There is a new collection full of cosmetics for that particular Warframe.
Operation Scarlet Spear will arrive in Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, shortly after the PC update.
