This weekend, Ariana Grande is the newest musician to enter the digital world of. got on Fourteen days. Your big rift The tour event will take place over the next few days and is less of a virtual concert and more of a trippy interactive adventure with strange graphics and mini-games.
Announced last weekendafter some leaks spoiled things, Ariana Grande is Headlining what Epic the “Provided Rift Tour. ”The pop star appears virtually five in-game shows hosted over three days. The first event took place on August 6th. A second iteration of the event was completed earlier today. Tomorrow, August 8th, it ends with three more chances to see the show. So what actually happens during your big in-game event? Surprisingly, quite a lot! You can check it out below, courtesy of Game spot.
During the Rift Tour event, players cannot harm each other and instead participate in different segments, each with their own songs. At some point the players slide around a long tube with colorful goo. Later, Players are strapped into planes and given the chance to shoot a large enemy and purple crystals. In other segments, players walk in a strange maze of Escher-like stairs and pillars or fly up through the clouds magical llamas that leave rainbow trails. As I said, a lot is happening.
At one point during the event, Grande’s Avatar is seen big white go up stairs towards a bright white light. During this part, you can hear them sing the song “The way” with Mac Miller. He tragic passed 2018 gone. The two had been dating since 2016. Many see this as a clear allusion to Miller and his untimely approach Death.
This is not the first virtual concert in Fourteen days, it is by far the best and most impressive. It definitely beats the Korn virtual concert I went to Adventure Quest 3D. (No offense Korn frontman Johnathan Davis.)

I know some might be tempted to roll their eyes or shake their fists at “the children” at all of this. But that’s a really nice and rightly cool thing. Even if you don’t love Ariana Grande’s music, the event seems like a blast. Secure, Fourteen days has changed a lot since it first appeared a few years ago, but I agree for the game to try bigger and stranger events like this one. As someone who doesn’t love battle royale games, these events are one of the top reasons I still have Fourteen days installed on my Xbox.
