We were hoping that Kevin James had more on him than the endless comedy role, lately, he was showing his big exposure in short films in his films YouTube channel. Hopefully, it is an upcoming movie Becky it will reinforce the idea that it is more than Paul Blart: Mall Cop.
Becky It stars Lulu Wilson as a special character, a 13-year-old girl who had trouble coping with her mother's death. What is meant to be an adventurous trip for him and his father (Joel McHale) turns out to be a spiritual nightmare when his new neighbor's girlfriend (Amanda Brugel) becomes disgusted. Things get even more complicated when a gang led by Dominick (James) releases a jail sentence and appears at the door of a holiday house.
Dominick, with tattooed swastika on the back of his head, is terrifying in the trailer. So far, so good, Kevin James. The plot of the film is slightly overlapping Book of Henry-esque, however, as Becky is about to save the day with her violent devices.
Becky will be available in theaters, digital and on demand June 5.
