Web fishing is one of my favorite games at the moment. Since it’s a fishing game, you’ll be doing a lot of fishing – but there are also plenty of other activities for you and your friends. As you explore the island, you can dress up cute animal characters, play scratch cards for virtual money, and decorate parts of the world with chalk. There’s also a guitar you can play, and since its release in October, musically talented players have been using this in-game guitar to host virtual concerts and cover popular songs from bands like Green Day, Radiohead and Blink-182.
The item is surprisingly sophisticated and emulates a real instrument. You can pluck individual strings, save chord presets, and play chords. Since I’m not a musician, I used it to play random notes in the background while my friends tried their best to concentrate on fishing. But some players are so good at playing the in-game guitar that they play acoustic covers of real songs Web fishing and share clips online. This person went all out and recorded four different parts to recreate Blink-182’s “I Miss You.”
All in all, it’s cool to see people getting so excited about using just a single item in the game. The creator, Lamedeveloper, took the trouble to make just one product this complex. (I would have loved to walk around making random strumming noises!) The guitar has become so popular that one person invented it Software that uses the MIDI audio files for the instrument to make it easier to reproduce the sound without having to play it directly in the game via the somewhat clunky interface.
