It’s time again for one of those made-up video game holidays where we celebrate a long-standing franchise. This time it is March 10th or Mario Day. Nintendo is celebrating on March 10th Super Mario Franchise long history and even offers some games and merch for sale. But if we want to reflect on the plumber’s many adventures, we must ask: What is? your favorite Mario Game?
Are you drawn to classic 2D platformers like the original game or the latest game? Super Mario Bros Wonder? Are you more of a 3D platformer who enjoys the open areas? Super Mario 64 or the mind control enabled by a hat Super Mario Odyssey? Or maybe you prefer Mario if he doesn’t jump and stomp much at all? Maybe you’d prefer him driving around a racetrack Mario Kartor hit a home run Mario Superstar Baseball? Let’s also not forget the various RPG spin-offs of the series, such as the recent remake Super Mario RPG
The Mario The series spans so many different spin-offs and genres that it’s entirely possible it’s one person Mario The journey could be completely different than anyone else’s. You can play all the games, you can just play the platform games, or maybe you just wear a hat and overalls to play the RPGs. I’ve played so many Mario games over the years, but I think my favorite is probably Super Mario Galaxy. Maybe it’s just because I love space and its use of gravity and planet-hopping activates the part of my brain that would like to leave that planet forever, but the 2007 Wii platformer has captured my heart like no other another.
So what about you? What Mario Games made you jump up and say “Wahoo!” when did you play it? There have been a few of them over the last 39 years. Oh God. Now that I’ve said that, it’s clear to me Super Mario will be 40 next year. Try not to let the endless time pass you by in the comments, okay?
