Honkai: Star RailPatch 2.5 is releasing a day earlier than usual, meaning we’re getting new content a full 24 hours early! Yay! This patch finally marks the start of the Luminary Wardance Ceremony on the Xianzhou Luofo, along with three new characters: Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze.

What time is Honkai: Star Rail out of service for maintenance?
Keep that in mind, because Patch 2.5 is actually coming out a day earlier than the usual six-week schedule. Honkai: Star Rail will be out of service for maintenance on Monday, September 9 or Tuesday, September 10 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
Make sure to use up your fuel before maintenance starts if you want to, but keep in mind that the Battle Pass of the new versions will start as soon as the game goes live, so you might want to wait.
When does Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5 launch?
Honkai: Star Rail should return from maintenance with version 2.5 at the following times:
The servers may go up earlier or later depending on maintenance history, but these are the approximate times 2.5 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse sticks to maintenance times pretty well. There aren’t usually extended maintenance times, but sometimes they end early! It’s actually pretty common for the game to go live an hour early, so keep that in mind, but don’t let to upset.
What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5?
This patch brings three new characters: Feixiao (Wind Hunt, 5 stars), Lingsha (Fire Abundance, 5 stars), and Moze (Lightning Hunt, 4 stars). This patch also includes the grand war dance ceremony on the Xianzhou Luofu and potentially concludes the prison storyline from the last patch.
The Wardance Ceremony event is the centerpiece of this patch, but there are also new additions to Divergent Universe, which means new Planar Ornaments to farm. Hurray.
