Archie returns to Destiny 2 with a trip to the Dreaming city after the weekly reset on May 21, 2024.
This is the latest in a series of “Where in the system is Archie?“Quests in the course of the Into the Light update – which will be staggered week by week in advance The final form.
Note that this quest will expire with the weekly reset on May 28th and will be replaced by another Archie quest in a new location. Keep that in mind, assuming you complete it any Archie Quest before the arrival of The final formget the Blue Steel shader, while the backstory for all Archie quests will be available starting June 4th.
How to start: Where in the Dreaming City is Archie? in Destiny 2
To start the latest quest, Where’s Archie, head to the tower annex and look for the paw prints. For future reference, you can find the start of each Archie quest here each week.
You can reach this location by using the southwestern-most fast travel point and then heading straight down the corridor. The paw prints appear on the ledge to your right.
Examine the prints and speak to Ada-1 (in the appendix opposite) to start the latest quest.
Now go to the Dreaming City and talk to the merchant Petra Venj who is in the Strand this week. Once you’re done, the search begins.
All Archie Dreaming City locations
Here’s where to find Archie in the Dreaming City, clue by clue.
“Archie wanted to check out the Blind Well… but the guards were fighting something sinister, so he decided to wait outside the door.”
The first clue takes you to the Divalian Mists. Once you land, jump onto your vehicle and head into the massive cathedral ahead, which leads to the Blind Well activity.
Keep going until you reach the stairs leading up to the Blind Well. Here you will find Archie’s footprints.
Now we move on to see the Ahamkara bones.
“Archie heard about some mysterious bones that were popularly traded and naturally felt compelled to check them out” location
This note refers to the Ahamkara traders who rest beneath Rheasilvia and outside of The Conflux in the Harbinger’s Seclusion.
The quickest and easiest way to get to these paw prints is to head to Rheasilvia and go through the huge cathedral on the north side, which leads you into the Harbinger’s Seclusion.
Follow the path until you reach the giant Awoken statue at the end. From there, turn around and look back to where you came from. Walk forward and into the small elevator chamber in front of you.
Once you get to the bottom, continue to the space between the two vendors and you will see the paw prints on the floor.
“Archie felt like someone was playing a trick on him!” He kept hearing the purring of a cat penetrating the location of the fog
This clue refers to Divialian Mists, the western location where you land in the Dreaming City.
Once you land, head to the left part of the area by the cliffs. Dismount on the side and watch out for the large lip that goes almost all the way down. Land on it and head inside.
This cave is much deeper than it seems. Continue further into the cave until you find Archie’s footprints.
Once you’ve examined them, move on to the Oracle Engine.
“Archie’s last stop.” He hoped to say hello to the queen if she were nearby
This final location is towards the Spine of Keres, west of the Divalian Mists.
Head to the Oracle Engine in the Spine of Keres. On your way you will be stopped by a boss called Ogre Ascendant.
Kill the boss and he will drop an Oracle Offer. Continue into the large Oracle Engine tower and go to the Techeun Witch. Interact with the panel next to her to unlock the Oracle Engine. Once it’s in place, run inside.
Go to the throne and you will see Archie sitting on the opposite side of the chest. Interact with him and then go back to Ada-1 in the tower.
She gives you some Ahamkara Bones and 10 Valor Trophy Tokens – useful for getting more Valor weapons. Whether you keep them is up to you. Archie will be sad if you don’t!
Remember that another Where’s Archie quest will appear next week after the weekly reset. Until then, if you want more to do in the Into the Light update, you can take on Pantheon bosses, complete Zero Hour and find Oracle locations for The Whisper, and upgrade Whisper of the Worm with Possessed Plagues .
