Description of the Suffering Talisman Item
The item description of the suffering talisman is:
“A talisman representing a soul afflicted by disease. When certain ailments are triggered, this talisman bestows resistance to that same ailment.
When the weak ones were infected with the dreaded fly disease, they died long before the metamorphosis could begin.
Strangely, those who cared for the infected and ensured that they were properly buried were never sick themselves.”
Where can I find the suffering talisman?
You’ll find the Talisman of Suffering in the Abandoned, Sick Village in the northeastern part of the Gravesite Plains, making it accessible very early in the DLC and giving you plenty of time to use it as needed throughout the new content.
Start by walking or fast traveling to Greatbridge, North Site of Grace, located west of the long bridge that leads into Castle Ensis’ Legacy Dungeon.
From the Site of Grace, head directly north to the village ruins ahead. Fight the various Pyrefly enemies lurking there, or walk past them, and head all the way up to the top near the largest building. To the right of this building is a wooden platform overlooking the chasm below. On this platform lies a corpse holding the Ailment Talisman.
It’s great that you have a little extra protection after being infected with a status effect, but it’s probably best to avoid them altogether, don’t you think? Good luck out there!
