The weapon is equipped with Ash of War: Onze’s Line of Stars. This Ash of War imbues the sword with magical energy for a combo. This combo can be extended so that each attack does more damage than the last, making it great for punishing enemies after their attack streak has ended.
The Star Sword can be upgraded to +10 with Dark Forgestones.

The item description of the Star Sword is:
“Sword studded with a row of stars fashioned from small pieces of rough glintstone. Weapon of the demi-human swordsmen. When the swordsmen receive this weapon from their queen, they swear to find the truth that lies at the end of the starry procession.”
Where can I find the Star Sword?
You can find the Star-Spangled Sword by defeating the demi-human queen Marigga in the Charo’s Hidden Tomb region. To reach her, fast travel to the Cerulean Coast West Site of Grace, then head northeast around the nearby building and through the ravine ahead. Follow the ravine while staying to the left, then head straight toward the coast.
Defeat as many of the smaller demihumans as you can before taking on the biggest of them, the demihuman queen Marigga. She’s not particularly difficult, but you can always summon your equipped spirit Ash to help out if needed. When she falls, you’ll receive the Star Sword as a reward for your efforts.
