The series was previously streamable on Crunchyroll, where many were also anticipating the latest season, but it appears Disney has snapped up the rights to the classic anime. The series will simulcast on Hulu the same day it airs in Japan, and will be available on Disney Plus for much of the rest of the world. For now, it appears that the Hulu version of the show will only include the subtitled version.
Bleach: Thousand Years of Blood War is animated by Pierrot, the same studio that animated the series’ original run from 2004 to 2012. An open question for the new arc is how long it could last. Although we know that there is only one season at the moment, the arc in the manga is quite long and certainly could include multiple seasons even if they are not announced yet.
