Samsung is on the news for an unexpected reason – everyone wants to smooch a new mascot character created for the brand. A design company called Lightfarm created these images with a Samsung marketing company, but the final product was never included in any type of campaign. Instead, the images were saved for some time on the Lightfarm site until the company has deleted the post.
Now Samantha Samsung lives on on the long weekend thanks to a sudden surge in popularity. She is a bright, cheeky lady who loves to jam to tunes on her Samsung phone, browse apps and text friends. She is also the new love interest of the seemingly entire internet that fell in love with her overnight.
During the long weekend, the internet created a slew of Samsung content. Much of it is unsafe for work; the subreddit “rule34” is absolutely flooded with dirty Samantha content. She also takes off on TikTok. It’s a really engaging character model, like a persona character walking through a Pixar theme, so it’s not a complete surprise that she’s popular.
Samsung created a virtual assistant avatar and within 5 picoseconds I was watching porn from her.
Some people are badly off in the galactic Lmao.

Samsung already has a Siri and Alexa equivalent; their phones are equipped with Bixby. It is possible for Samantha to take off because we never really have to live with her or see her leak for endless viral marketing campaigns. We’ll never have to say “Silence, Brand” to Samantha Samsung and she’ll never show up with a note from your phone. Or maybe it’s just another case where the internet is suddenly so obsessed with a female character that she dominates the zeitgeist – it wouldn’t be the first time.
