Why are there so many hands-on managers?

Handson, managers

I am always very busy with hand masters.

Everyone has fought at least one of these creatures, and they all follow the same basic text: A large powerful beast has big hands and inside those hands has eyes. They will try to hit you, but you can stop them if you hit them with the hand.

There are a lot of these boss battles, especially in Nintendo games. And after years and years of fighting these bosses, it left me wondering: Why?

Why is there so much? Is there a deeper reason for these managers? Are they inspired by something?

So since I am living at home right now, I have decided to spend more time on my hands to do research with my hands.
