Therefore, it is unclear whether this number includes copies of the game that Xbox Game Pass subscribers download as part of the service.

Regardless of whether the sales number counts Xbox Game Pass downloads or not, Palworld had an absolutely amazing release day. According to Steam Charts, the game has over 340,000 concurrent players on Steam as of Friday afternoon, surpassing other popular titles like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds And Baldur’s Gate 3.
Palworld has been causing a stir for a long time. Essentially, it stood out for the contrast between its cute creatures and brutal conditions – previous trailers showed its adorable monsters fighting with military machinery and creatures toiling in factories. It basically looks like a militarized Pokémon game, but also has additional survival elements.
