in the World of warships and its console counterpart, World of Warship: LegendsPlayers compete in fairly realistic sea battles with historically correct battleships and weapons. So it’s a little strange that Godzilla and King Kong were added to the game as part of a new event. Stranger still, they look bored of everything.
Announced back in April as part of a connection with the recently released film Godzilla versus Kong, this new event brings the two iconic monsters in the free sea fighting game. But not as exciting boss enemies that players have to face or like some wild raid people have to defeat. Instead, these two legendary cinema creatures relax on special boats.
In light of that, it all makes sense Godzilla versus Kong shows pictures of the monsters who continue to fight Head of a large battleshipwhich was featured in a number of trailers, posters and clips for the film. World of warships is a game with large battleships, after all. I can almost see the meeting where this was posted. After years of creating a game full of realistic boats, bridges, and weapons, creating two giant, fictional monsters was probably a blast for the developers.
If you glue these two onto boats and they move a little while you play, it feels like a missed opportunity for an ad link to me. These are supposed to be giant, unstoppable, god-like beasts, but here they see you and your friends battle BigBoy65 and AssmanXX1994.
When you want your hands on Kong or Godzilla (or both) World of warshipsyou have to buy some special loot boxes and hope you are lucky enough to get one of these titans. Or you could just use the “Titans: Large Pack “for $ 150. It includes both monsters and two large specialty ships to cruise around, as well as a few other extras.
This isn’t the first time the game has played with adding inauthentic items and characters to large battleships. Last year, World of warships Transformers added to the game too.
