WWE interim chief financial officer Frank Riddick said "there will be no launch this year" to answer a question about the release WWE 2K21.

The cancellation of this year's WWE 2K match comes after a bit of frame time. WWE 2K20 has been beaten by both critics and fans for its poor technical performance, for shared game violations (yet often watched).
