Microsoft hosted its Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on Sunday, curating more than 90 minutes of news, trailers and announcements from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda and third-party studios. This includes Activision Blizzard, which Microsoft plans to acquire in a $68.7 billion deal.
The entire showcase focused on games that will be playable within the next year (with one big exception), Microsoft said. Missed the program? Here are all the announcements from Microsoft’s big event.
Microsoft started with its Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase redfall, Arkane Austin’s co-op open world horror game set in Massachusetts. The broadcast included an extended look at redfall‘s vampire shooter gameplay and four playable characters. redfall starts in 2023.

Diablo 4 doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s expected in 2023. A new character class was also revealed – Necromancer. It will have cross-play and cross-progression when it releases.
Sea of Thieves
A Sea of Thieves update lets seafarers become captains, which includes naming ships and customizing and decorating them. There was also a song! Season 7 arrives June 21st.
Ravenlock
Ravenlock“an action-packed fairy tale” will be published in 2023.

cocoon comes in 2023 from publisher Annapurna Interactive, developed by gameplay designers at limbo and Inside.
Wo Long: Last Dynasty
Wo Long: Last Dynasty is a later Han Dynasty dark fantasy game by Team Ninja, coming to Xbox Game Pass on the day it was released.
Persona 3 wearable, Persona 4 Gold and Person 5 Royal are all coming to Xbox Series X and Windows PC. royal will come on October 21st, the other two games will come later. All three games will be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription.
Hideo Kojima’s next game project will be in collaboration with Xbox Game Studios, the reputable developer himself announced. Unfortunately, neither Kojima nor Microsoft shared more details than that – other than that it’s an “all new game”.
starfield got an extended gameplay trailer during the Microsoft event. Bethesda director Todd Howard was on hand to show off the space gameplay and character creation, which looks incredible and ambitious. You can build a spaceship and choose its crew!
