Zack Snyder teases Joker for Justice League Snyder Cut

Justice League comes back with a new and … different cut, thanks to original director Zack Snyder. And it seems the cut will include Jared Leto’s Joker, complete with a new look that Snyder teased on Twitter on Tuesday.

When Justice League was originally in production, it was rumored that Leto’s Joker would do a post-Suicide squad

return in Snyder’s film. But thanks to the Justice LeagueDue to its rocky production and numerous adaptations, Joker did not make it into theatrical release. It appears that Snyder is putting the clown Prince of Crime back in the film for the Snyder Cut version, which will be released on HBO Max in March.

Snyder’s tweet featured a photo of a gloved hand with a Joker card and a blurry image of the Joker in the background. Snyder also tagged Leto and Suicide squad

This is certainly a different look than the tattooed, short-haired Suicide Squad Joker, but not entirely surprising. In November 2020 Snyder revealed Grace Randolph from Beyond the Trailer that the Joker would get a new look. Based on the photo, it seems we can expect a Joker with longer hair, possibly more traditional makeup, and maybe even a few fewer tattoos.

Whatever Leto’s new Joker look, we probably won’t have to wait long to see it. in the another twitter teaseRandolph, who came out shortly after Snyder’s tweet, suggests we could get another preview on Valentine’s Day.

Zack Snyders Justice Leaguewill be released in its full, revised form on March 18 on HBO Max.
