The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is full of opportunities to cheat.

I’m not talking about it actually Hack or Cheat – Nintendo hasn’t been unhappy with players in the past cheating in his games. The cheating I am talking about is related to playing the game in a way that may not have been intended by the developers. Well, fans of Tears of the Kingdom take that ethos to a new level; They build super bridges to solve all their problems and share clips of their work on platforms like TikTok.

In Tears of the Kingdom, Link has a new ability called Ultrahand. This allows him to pick up and arrange objects, as well as glue them together into a larger structure. It is an important change that has been introduced tears of kingdom, It also introduces multiple sandbox mechanics as players build machines and other constructs to aid them in solving puzzles or navigating Hyrule’s harsh environment.

Most importantly, you can use this ability to build a bridge. In principle, you can build a bridge out of anything. Sure, wood from a felled tree will work, but there are plenty of other random materials throughout Hyrule that you can glue together to build a bridge and get from one place to another. Players have shown how much they can achieve with a simple but very long bridge.

If you build a bridge and then leave the area, everything you build will disappear. So some people just carry their bridge from place to place like a damn 100 foot purse.

Others are convinced that they broke the game’s physics by building a bridge that was too long.

This person has built a bridge long enough to keep up with her Bridge of Eldin and somehow they stuffed it in a shrine. Don’t ask me where all the pillars are from – it’s ridiculous.

My personal favorite is this clip at the Mayan shrine – the bridge isn’t that long but it’s shabby. It certainly is unique way to way to solve the puzzle.

It’s kind of a one-sided, himboistic solution that just makes sense to me. Oh you’re not coming to a tower? Build a bridge. Don’t want to fight all the Bokoblins? Build a bridge to bypass them. Don’t understand a timing riddle? Just use the items to build a bridge. I can’t currently build a mech, war machine, or even a fully functional glider, but do you know what I can safely build? A bridge. And it works.
